SYDNEY WITH LOVE

The short getaway to Sydney was not too bad,
though it was the company of my boy that made the trip an unforgettable one.
I had a wonderful time with you.
We should do this again, shouldn’t we?
SMILING WITH GLEE
So Friday marked the official day in which I ended my semester. No more assignments, no more research, no more exams! I am finally free for a month to do whatever I like, whatever I want and go wherever I want to!
Witty and I spent the afternoon on Friday to basically catch up and started planning our holidays. And after finding this super neat handbook that tells you where to go and what to do this Winter, we immediately took out our pens and notebooks, and started scribbling and ticking the places we wanna go
Excited to the max about this coming Thursday, in which we named it “Craft Day”, which I’ll blog about it soon! That’s the beauty of Melbourne, just so many hidden places waiting for us to check out!

Btw, Camy dumplings are really good and cheap, but be warned, the server is so bad it’s funny.

Spent my Saturday with the boy, waking up bright and early for the first time to catch Transformers at the IMAX at 12pm!
Not bad a movie, though I found it personally too long. Megan Fox is hot hot hot hot hot hottt!!!

And since the boy and I are heading for a short mini holiday to Sydney tomorrow morning, we sent buttons over to Dinah’s. (Thanks again!) We’ve become so emotionally attached to him, it’s been barely few hours, and we miss him so badly already.

All packed, ready to go,
so….

FREEDOM
DONE.DONE.DONE.DONE.
(sort, of)
The exam went alright, although the four of us felt it was horrendous that the lecturer ended up providing specific terms for us to define, while all we studied from our compiled 4-page list were words that were wayyy too general. Nonetheless, it’s over and let’s pray it’ll turn out alright.
I must add though, taking my first exam since I arrived in Melbourne for my studies, it’s such a intimidating yet exciting feeling. Entering the exam hall with like thousands of other students, all nervously wondering how the paper will turn out to be. The exam hall was huge beyond words, with paintings all over. gorgeous! Never knew people here took exams at such a nice venue. Pity I couldn’t take pictures of the inside, but well here’s outside and other pictures we took while finally screaming, ‘it’s over!’, oh and our quick mini study session.

The night ended with the boy back in my arms and for the first time in this relationship, I felt different.
I knew him better, I knew us better, I knew myself better.
I’m blessed.

One more day to freedom,
Gracie.
WINTER HOLIDAYS
I spent my yesterday afternoon, watching my favourite Disney movie of all time, Alice in Wonderland, once again, wishing that I was in a land of my own as well. I realised how much I love shows like this, transporting you in a fantasy world where everything is possible. I really can’t wait for Tim Burton’s version of it coming out next year, I think it would awesome.
I woke up, suddenly feeling jaded that I urgently need to start revising for my exam tomorrow. (yes, tomorrow) And it occurred to me as well that I need to rush on another essay after all that is done on Wednesday. But I guess if I keep looking on the negative side, I’ll never do it well right? *I know I can do this.*
I thought about the upcoming one-month Winter break, and quite honestly am looking forward for it. I think it’ll be a good time to spend some quality time with the boy, and really catch up with my friends whom I have not met in ages or not been able to hang out properly with.
Starting the holiday on the right note, the boy and I booked our tics for a short getaway to Sydney this coming Sunday and I am all ready to borrow travel books this Thursday. I’m excited to see what what we will plan out for the trip. It’s going to be a good one.
For now, I guess I’m going to bury myself in my notes again and try to do well for ‘em.
Love,
G.
